That’s right as I record this we have just reached and passed
50,000 downloads! 85 countries!
The Eden Podcast is a group effort. YOU are a big part of it!
It began with seven years of quiet research of Genesis 2-3 by my wife Joy Fleming. The University of Strasbourg, France recognized her efforts with top honors and a PhD.
God got my attention directing me to get the word out to the church worldwide. This became the Tru316 Project and started with the website Tru316.com.
I took her research and turned it into podcast scripts which she then double checked, and corrected here and there. Then with the help of Larry, our first audio guy, we recorded the first script.
Christy recorded the introduction and conclusion parts. These were added along with our music.
Les did the artwork. More on Les later.
Billie taught me how start a hosting account. She taught me how to upload the artwork and the first mp3 sound file. The result? Episode 1 of The Eden Podcast.
We then went live and received 10 downloads from listeners the first day! Were you one of them?
The great thing about podcasts is that the episodes can be listened to later on. Since that first day Episode 1 has been downloaded by listeners more than 3,000 times.
Here are the top ten countries where people have been downloading The Eden Podcast:

The first eight episodes covered Genesis 2-3 and especially Genesis 3:16. This became Season 1 of The Eden Podcast.
Joanne Hagemeyer provided Study Guides for each episode. At first these were posted as blogposts on Tru316.com. Later Joanne suggested we combine the scripts for each of the first eight episodes with the questions in the study guides. She produced a complete book out of these.
I went back to Les and asked if he could produce cover art, front and back for the book. Joy and I named it The Book of Eden, Genesis 2-3, with the subtitle “God didn’t curse Eve (or Adam) or limit woman in any way.”
It was published as a paperback and as a Kindle eBook on Amazon. Because I love the reach of audio it was produced as an audiobook on Audible in March of 2021. Andrew, our new sound guy in Dubai, produced the audiobook.
Have you noticed the different names? Are you seeing how this has been a group effort?
On our way to 50,000 downloads we got lots more help too. People in a number of online social circles liked and shared episodes of the podcast. They commented on the various episodes. They wrote testimonies how God had touched their lives through our teaching content.
A number of podcasters interviewed me. Special thanks to Sheila Wray Gregoire of The Bare Marriage podcast and to Natalie Hoffman of The Flying Free podcast. And there were others.
After these interviews on their podcasts there were significant spikes in our download numbers as their listeners liked what they heard on the interviews and started listening to The Eden Podcast.
That’s a striking feature of our listeners. Many have reportedly binge listened as they worked through the content of a Season! What were the Seasons?

We have found that when Genesis 3:16 is made clear, the other passages become clear as well. That is the power of the Tru316 Message.
The content of these four Seasons is being produced as the four books in The Eden Book Series.
