Episode Notes

Nobody else had volunteered to run for Student Body President at the seminary. They were all busy with their master's level studies. I was too but when I learned the four student officers would have a private lunch every Friday with the Dean, Dr. Kantzer, I signed up. What a mentor he was to us!

Because of that, it turned out I was chosen to represent the school the next summer at the Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization! What an experience that was. 4,000 evangelists and ministry leaders from around the world. It blew out the walls of my limited world view.

And because of that I learned of the first evangelical graduate seminary that was going to launched in French-speaking Africa. I didn't see it coming, but later I was picked to become a professor in that very school.

This is Part 2 in the pilgrimage of Bruce C. E. Fleming, co-founder of the Tru316 Foundation and host of The Eden Podcast!
